Adequate Rest

Adequate rest is an important part of the equation for good health.

Most adults need 8 hours of sleep to perform quality work, handle everyday stress, and rejuvenate for the next day. Follow a similar sleep schedule every day. Go to bed and wake up around the same time on a daily basis.

Use your bed for sleeping, not reading or watching television. Avoid eating a heavy meal just before bedtime.
