Keep food safe!

Store leftovers in shallow containers and refrigerate or freeze within two hours of serving time. Do not let leftovers sit in your car or on your desk.

By storing foods correctly, you'll lessen the potential for unfriendly bacterial growth and food-borne illness.

When in doubt, throw it out. Better to be safe than sorry!

4 Steps to Food Safety To keep our food safe we need to:

1. Choose good quality, suitable foods
2. Clean everything used to prepare foods and WASH OUR HANDS.
3. Cover food to protect it from contamination
4. Chill food to keep it safe and appetising.
