Stress


If exercise and a healthy diet haven't trimmed your abdominal fat, add stress reduction to your daily routine.

Studies have shown that high levels of cortisol - a stress hormone - contribute to fat on your midsection.

To decrease the stress hormone, practice stress reduction techniques, get plenty of sleep and avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
